Lee has lived in Durham since 1995 after graduating from UNC – Chapel Hill. She has been investing in real estate as a passion and a side business for almost 20 years. She’s bought, renovated, sold or rented a number of houses and buildings in this area. She’s lived in Downtown Durham, Duke Park, Trinity Park, South Durham, Chapel Hill, and out in Durham County. She currently lives in a co-housing community in Durham, one of six in the Triangle. She has been involved with many different neighborhoods, served on boards, and worked with historic renovations and green building.
For almost 20 years Lee sold advertising for The Independent, as well as the DPAC playbill, and thus offers a unique vantage. Working with hundreds of businesses, local universities, corporations, ad agencies, government agencies, non-profits, and different artistic communities throughout the area has prepared her perfectly for marketing your home.
She enjoys both people and real estate and will help you get the most out of your investment when buying or selling your home. With her advertising and marketing experience, in addition to her real estate experience, she knows how to attract the right buyer for your home while maximizing your sales price. Selling your home and moving is usually a stressful time and one of her goals is to make this as easy and enjoyable as possible for you.
She also enjoys helping buyers find their way in our vibrant community. Each neighborhood has its own unique flavor and finding your home can be a fun adventure with the right mindset and the right advocate on your side. Some people love a project. Others want a house with low maintenance so they can do other things. Walkability is important to some, while being central to several locations for the family is vital to others. Lee is a good listener and easy to talk to. She understands this area, its trends, and will match you and your needs to your ideal home. The home you want is here somewhere and she will find it for you!
Lee has an 11 year old daughter. They like to play with their dog, explore Duke Gardens, do martial arts, grow organic edibles, make anything chocolate, and just get out and enjoy their community. When out with her friends, she likes to play games like Rummikub, Hearts, or Celebrity. She enjoys tennis, ping pong, and rocking on the porch with friends and neighbors. She also likes to hang out downtown, enjoy a show at DPAC, and explore many of the amazing restaurants of Durham and Chapel Hill. And while she has traveled much of the world and has her finger on the pulse of what’s hot, she grew up in Eastern North Carolina and keeps it real with her Southern accent.
